I like UCLA if he doesn't play. However, that game wouldn't be until next weekend. Have they said he is definitely out the whole tournament?

KU hasnt announced but a Fla basketball guy said his camp is saying he wont play and going to rest for draft workouts. Imo w/o him KU wont beat New Mexico.

New Mexico is a good team, San Diego state beat kansas at kansas so you may be right.

I don't see as many lower seeds making runs as I thought. I do like Oregon to the elite 8 though.

I thought about picking UNC to the elite 8 as well but can't do it. Iowa state instead. Villanova is weak imo.

Still have to do a lot of work, but for now, Florida/Arizona/Louisville/Villanova. Florida scares me regardless of on-court/number success. 1 seeds with scoring margins below 14 PPG typically fare well below expectations in the tournament, but it's hard to ignore just how good they've been

Think Ucla or Pitt beat us if we have a slow start.

Saint Louis is sticking out like a sore thumb to me. Incredibly good defensive team (shades of 2010 Butler) that meets a lot of parallels of past 5 seeds to make deep runs, but I can't get over their lack of offensive output/existence of Louisville in their region

That means beating a BYU team short one of their best players. Oregon "should" win.

Beating Wisconsin, much tougher match, but Oregon should match up well against Wisconsin. Not sure I'd pick the Ducks in this one with the game "IN" WISCONSIN!! Badgers got home games in the first two rounds.

The third game regardless is certainly with in Oregon's capabilities. Big question is will Oregon be consistent enough defensively to win three in a row.

The "homer" in me says yes of course. The skeptic says "boy I just don't know".

I also don't see "traditional powers" Duke or Kentucky making the sweet sixteen. Kentucky isn't a great defensive team and the offense doesn't score enough points consistently enough for Kentucky to win three in a row. Duke relies too much on the outside shot and a quick good defensive team like Tenn should match up well with coach K's team.

My picks are:

Florida
Arizona
Iowa State
Louisville

I think Louisville wins their second NCAA Championship in a row by beating Florida.
