Want to guess what UT's first play of the game will be?
i say it will be a Playaction pass to Meach deep just to send a message that this isen't the same offense they played against last year. :superman:

They tried the deep pass vs UF. Didn't work on the first play. Bama stacks the box then screen pass. They don't stack the box it'll be end run.

depends on what the d gives us, since we audible at the line so much. they will probably show pass coverage so we will run. i look for foster to take what's there. 4-6 yards up the middle probably. if arian is back and healthy after the bye week we could have a real run game, which could make it a long day for bama.

reverse punt .......never see it comin

Yooo Yooo Yooo what about a triple fake reverse, flee flicker, pass to Ainge down the field. Maybe then he'll be blind sided.

Or we throw off Bama and go into our own endzone and give a safety so we can give them decent field position on on their first offensive possesion.

Or, or, or....

who cares, as long as we beating the living piss out of them, i'm going up there tomorrow with my best friend who is a bama fan, he's never been to neyland, and how sweet it would be for me if we beat them by 50

Serious question...is all this confidence just you all being psyched up for the bamma game or do you really think that we are going to wallop them? I just can't feel as confident as you guys. I know our offense has been firing on all cylinders and we've had the bye week to rest up - but that could also mean that we will be slow to start. That young QB for Alabama could give our secondary a lot of trouble..particularly if our D-line can't get a good push and stop Darby (as it has been unable to do occasionaly this year). I hope for a big win and I know we are capable of it...but I can't convince myself of it to the point it seems some of you all have. What do you think? I say our odds are about 70% to win...20-30% to win by more than 17. Am I way offbase here?

i think your just about right. Bama will not be able to deal w/ the crowd noise as well.thats a huge factor just ask Cal
worst case bama keeps it close into the 4th then UT takes over final
35-17 UT

I feel the very same way, TennTradition. This has been a VERY long week for me. I am very, very concerned about this game, and I won't feel better about it until the scoreboard hits 0:00, and we have won. We can certainly win this game, and personally, I think we will, but I really don't think it will be more than 7-10 points. Coming out a little flat concerns me too. Bama has the talent to pull off the upset, and they will come in here doing everything possible to do that. I just hope our guys are ready to come out and play for 60 minutes, because that is what this game is going to be; a 60 minute war.

How about Ainge sets up for the quick WR screen, pump fakes with the DB squatting on the route and Meach goes deep down the sidelines for a TD?

Would have worked against Florida if Ainge had either thrown it earlier or thrown it flatter.
