With 33 schools no longer in the 12-member league — including Palmer’s Wake Forest and West’s and Huff’s alma mater West Virginia — establishing a Hall of Fame was clearly complicated.


But thanks to a 20-person voting panel consisting of media members, school administrators and former athletes, 10 athletes were selected from an initial list of 254 nominees.

Curry, yah hes a beast, i remember seeing him when he was a freshman when they would davidson would come to hanner to play us, he was a beast, fun to yell at though

you were making him as relevant as, say, Jerry West.

I think the kid's a stud with a solid future in the NBA. West is a HOF type, and, along with a couple others, revolutionized basketball by introducing the big, dominant guard.

BigPapa - I never said Curry was equal to West and wouldn't be stupid enough to make that claim, despite how much I like Curry.

Someone posted that Curry would make the SoCon HOF (and I agree with that given what he will have accomplished while there), and that prediction would put him in the same "club" as others, including Jerry West. I simply made a bad joke that others (like you) would get riled up by this loose comparison, and I guess I was right.
