first spring practice for my son and I

My son and i are going to be in town to watch the men do work on Saturday against mizzou and i know that saturday is the first day of spring practice. I know spring practice is closed to the public but we were trying to see about maybe a time to see the football team after practice or something even in passing i know this is an odd question but i promised my son we would go see a football game last year and due to financial circumstances we couldnt get to a game and i didnt want his first game to be a dooley game really appreciate any help we could get go vols

Walk around in the lobby of the athletic center just before practice, entrance behind Gibbs hall, if nothing else you will get to see the 1998 NC trophy on display and read some cool stuff about vol history.

I may be wrong. I can't remember where I heard it but what I did hear is that CBJ is making practice open but you will need to contact the athletic department for some type of reservation. Don't slam me if I'm wrong. I'm very old and memory is not my strong suit.
