He has not announced where he will be going...only that he will be transferring out

I plan on keeping tabs on this and posting each casualty if you guys/girls don't mind

There's a lot of chatter going on about Jordan Campbell being the first to transfer from USC. This is only a rumor, but it's being repeated a lot. I don't know anything about this kid, other than he's a fullback/safety, that turned into a linebacker at USC.

Sounds like a great idea... I think there will be several before the season starts, but wait until next year if Kitten and crew don't win.. the ship will really sink then..

I do have a question, is this the juniors only chance to transfer without penalty? Or if they stay for their junior year and decide they want to play D-1 some where else for their final season can they still transfer w/o penalty?

I understood it as they can transfer under hardship if the remainder of their eligibilty is under sanctions. So a Jr that stays and is a Sr next year could still bolt. This will happen if they have a weak recruiting and poor showing in 2010/2011.

Hearty chuckle at Kiff & co. Didn't anyone tell him the grass that looked greener was really just spray painted manure?
I read in another post O's been looking for more green grass since they are all out of spray paint in LA.
Hat is now selling how this won't hurt USC that bad. Think that's the same line PC gave Kiffin.

I hope this is the first of many transfers from Southern California. I'd love for them to be decimated by this.

What makes this even better is that their AD is about to be fired, and the new AD probably won't be as loyal to Kiffin. I'd love for Kiffin to be fired in two years, and for Monty to retire, making Kiffin completely worthless to any real programs. If he didn't like Knoxville, just wait until he's stuck coaching in Bowling Green, Kentucky in a few years.

Yeah well hat's going 40,000 troll posts strong.

Only idiots don't think it won't hurt USC.

His errors do not change the fact that only an idiot can say
1. That UNLV is not as good of a basketball school as San Diego State
2. That Texas A&M is a pathetic school
3. That USC will not be hurt by the sanctions and Lane Kiffin is in a great position.

You were just now able to say all that.

The crazy thing is according to this ESPN story he ended spring practice not even on USC's roster so the transfer rule was a blessing in disguise.

But Campbell's decision to leave the Trojans is especially interesting because of the circumstances surrounding his time at USC. A high school All-American out of Norco High who struggled to find playing time at USC during his three-year career, Campbell ended spring practice not officially on USC's roster due to a violation of head coach Lane Kiffin's newly instituted "zero-tolerance" policy.

Here is the link.

Says he will always be a Trojan fan.

Campbell, who has a large USC tattoo on his arm, said he will remain a Trojan fan, no matter his next destination. But, he said, "at the end of the day, I have to do what's best for my family and for myself."

I bet Kiffin is just crushed. He's "lost" a guy SC's medical staff wouldn't clear to play and a guy he had thrown off the roster. I don't know how they'll be able to field a team this year.
