Why do we always have some sort of QB battle every time we have a new HC?

Or Was Kiffin the only lucky one to not go back and forth between QBs?

My theory is the skill level of the quarterback tells you a lot about what the coach is getting out of his team. For example, Bray should have been able to win given his skill level and his failure exposed Dooley as a farce. Exit both and what follows is Butch looking for the next QB.

Just scroll through the last two days of garbage threads. The answer lies somewhere within.

On a serious note, I really hope we find the answer soon. Sat. was tough to digest!

We are getting better every week I would worry about it. I believe worry understands now he has to produce. We will win this Saturday, upset USCe, and run the tables in October. We will be fine. Worley like Crompton will soon find his groove.

Worry or Worley.

Worley and young receivers will show significant improvement before the November games. Do we really believe that Bray or any above average QB would win with these young receivers? Besides Pig, who was injured vs Oregon, the best playmaker is North, who was a QB and RB in HS. Devrin was a RB last year. Josh Smith was playing against small HS teams last year. Croom is still developing. Harris apparently is not ready, yet. Johnson is still injured. Downs is the only experienced TE.

Depressing isn't it? But barring injury all of the above will gain experience and improve their games during October, so I am optimistic they will be ready to win in November.

Bray losing had nothing to do with the worst defense in school history.

Bray would throw for 300 yards a game with the same receivers.
