Fisher to move to Tackle.

Fisher Moved to Tackle: Sophomore Walter Fisher has moved from defensive end to tackle. Fisher, a Nashville native, enrolled at UT in January after transferring from Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College. Fisher, who suffered a shoulder injury in spring practice, played for the first time this season Saturday against Marshall.

Does this make the defensive tackle position better, or is it just for depth?

i saw this. He said he likes it alot better but he is undersized for the position at 265 I guess they are hoping he will make up for that in speed. i think it was mostly just to add depth.

It would if he was healthy, before he got hurt he was a real stud.

at this point in the season, and given his inexperience it's likely depth.

He is actually reported to be at 280. Still undersized slightly, but not much at 280.

Well, I heard this reported by Dave Nathan after he said that McBride is out of practice so far this week. Then he reported that Fisher was moving to DT-so I say attrition.
