Would love to have him on board. Our edge rusher recruiting has been as good as anyone’s over the past couple of years. We need some interior DLs that can play at 310-320+ and replace Omari and ONL in a couple of years though. Our front 7 recruiting with the exception of the DT looks like we’re recruiting for the 3-4, but we’ve yet to land a true 0 nose yet. RG could likely develop this guy and Franklin into that though

He was at the 865 Live and loved UT. Raved about Coach G and Coach Chop.

Have you heard anything other than the 247 article? Hard for me to see him leaving the state based on his other favorites.

That said I love his athletic profile and size.

Sounds like he’s quite an athlete…

Multi-sport athlete that also competes in track and field as well as basketball. As a 10th grader, took 4th at the Florida 1A meet in the discus with a 147’0.25” effort. Also qualified for regionals in the shot put and javelin. On the hardwood, averaged 10.6 ppg and 8.6 rpg in 28 games as a junior.
-----
2022: Two-way player getting snaps on the DL and OL. Also worked as a TE/FB of sorts for a Blountstown squad that went 9-5 and made the semifinals of Florida’s 1R playoffs. Credited with 58 tackles (14 TFL), 3.5 sacks, an INT, a FF, a FR and a PBU on defense. On offense, caught 8 passes for 142 yards and a touchdown. Also ran for a score.

- Andrew Ivins and Gabe Brooks, 247

Four-star defensive lineman Artavius Jones took to Twitter late Wednesday night to remind folks that he does have an official offer from Tennessee.

Committed to Miami so is he fishing for bigger NIL deal?

Miami is a dumpster fire especially since their largest NIL donor is being investigated for fraud. Won’t be surprised if a lot of their blue chips start looking elsewhere

Miami, Texas A&M, and Florida could all see their classes unravel depending on a few factors. Two of those programs we play this season. Problem is all these Florida kids are going to end up somewhere if Miami is weak usually Florida is a stronger program.
