He's a good player, but is the backup to Harold Perkins who is probably the best freshman defensive player in the country, so he knows he won't be seeing the field anytime soon. We should take a look. We'll need LBs in 2024, after Beasley, Mitchell, and Pili are gone. We'll only have younger guys.

We play a lot of LBS. I think our defense plays almost 30 percent more snaps than our offense.

Our young gunz you mentioned are pretty good tho.
Not sure Pii is a shoe in yet.
The more I look at Carter and Telander, the more that I think one of them is starting beside Beasley.

And some of those younger guys won't necessarily be young guys anymore at that point.

I respected him for staying committed to LSU through the coaching change, but it looks like he probably should've just came here from the beginning.

Carter, Tolan, Smith, Telander, Herring and Perry sounds like a pretty darn good depth chart at ILB to me

A poster said he was his dad. Gave a little info then tried to crawfish. Pretty sure he really was his dad. Just realized he prob shouldn’t have posted it on here. He was a regular poster. Just can’t remember who and too lazy to go back and look

Not bringing in WRs for depth tho. We land Thornton and he plays big minutes. “Could be” is a judgement call for the coaches. Obviously they don’t agree.

Same. Wasn’t that big a deal to hunt it down, just thought I remembered something along those lines.
