Pruitt was simply checking up on Copeland after visiting him at Escambia on Wednesday, but within the first minute of the conversation, Copeland asked Pruitt: “Why haven’t you offered Frank yet?”

Fair question.

And within an hour, Peasant announced on Twitter that he'd been offered by Tennessee — a mega-leap forward in the recruiting process.

They're actually pronouncing his name as Peezant. I've only seen him playing running back tonight, apparently they started playing him both ways this season.

He carried the ball 29 times for 211 yds and 1 TD. He was named the game's MVP. I didn't see any snaps on defense for him. He's a big strong runner with a nice cut. The commentators seemed to think he would still play LB in college. He's definitely athletic.
