That was my thought too. I can understand giving them a lot of hell in practice to make sure they understand you can’t let people film unauthorized in the locker room but come on, no one was hurt.

Shoot Saban had a player hit one of our fans and didn’t do squat. Just seems weird to shutdown football indefinitely over this

I think this is why there is such a big overreaction to it. They know they better take action until they know exactly what lyrics are in the song for which the video was made.

Otherwise the woke mob will launch an all assault for everyone to lose their job.

The woke mob won’t be the issue here, it would be the people that actually spend money and donate to the university. The lyrics talk about shooting people and gang lifestyle. That’s a real bad look for the team having anything to do with it.

The coach is doing the right thing. Get their attention now or he will never have control and these guys will continue to make poor decisions.

You are right, the woke mob is not going to come for an HBCU. But, as you say, the alumni might object to the association of gangs and violence with their school. One of my friends is a successful “Rattler” and he would definitely object to damaging the schools reputation.
