They used to be decent, and it's the sun belt so it doesn't take much.

He's close to retirement age already...Dan Mac is a solid recruiter that will get some good player to NT. He's from Iowa so'll he has ties in the midwest and brings his recruiting from south/central fl with him. They'll start to respectable again in the SunBelt.

Leave UF for North Texas?? Even to be a head coach something must be going on in Gator Nation.

I meant reference to Meyer retiring, not the program at large. As long as fast-athletic kids continue to grow up in the state, Florida will be competitive.

Considering all the young guys that got to play for UF this year, i think you will be just fine next year. Besides the O-line UF is pretty young across the board right?

Dan McCarney, Florida defensive line coach and assistant head coach. Hired Nov. 30

How do you think this will affect gators d next year?
They most likely will be learning a new system. They do have alot of tallent and will be tough, but i think we take them in 2011 and overthrow the powers that be to take the SEC Crown in 2012. GBO!

CUM lost Mullen 2 years ago, lost Strong and his son (T-Bo), and now has lost McCarney and decides to retire.
He saw his empire crumble and jumped overboard. :cray:
