Anyone else see this game as quite possibly the turning point to the season if we can win it? The remaining schedule after that game is manageable and it would do wonders to sweep Florida and notch a first road win for confidence going forward. I think we match up favorably with them and expect a close outcome

I would be optimistic with the way this team has played at home and road games left with average teams (Bama, LSU and SC) that they could get to 10 SEC wins.

Are we their first game after the UK beating they took?

Not good if we are, they will come out better prepared AND we suck on the road

If Tennessee beats Florida, then it's plausible they could win out remaining schedule. This SHOULD definitely be the toughest remaining game we have, let's start with USCjr tonight though.

I hate playing UF after the embarrassment they suffered, plus at odome, plus new uniforms. Gonna be tough.

Considering our road troubles, im expecting for it to get out of hand quick

no way we win this game. the guters will be stark raving mad after the beating they took last night. our only road win possibility will be at s. carolina. maybe, lsu but i doubt it. not a negavol, just a realist.

Im sure that the ref's will get the same message from UF as they heard from UK...call fouls early and this game will be over, but we can still hope that we have the play to shoot well there. That could change the outcome.

dont see it happening. We are worse on the road than florida is and they are ten times better in g-vile. I think 12-15 point beatdown.

Can we get a USCjr game thread before we do a @Florida thread?

Just saying with this team, things need to be one game at a time.

I don't like our chances against ANYONE on the road, much less florida

What we do here on the board isn't going to matter one bit about the team's ability to "take it one game at a time".

No but the same should go for us as well. We should stay rational and not look way ahead, we did the same thing as a fan base before vandy and heading into UGA, we ended up losing.

I was just saying lets start with today and if we win then we can worry about a turning point of the season. If we lose though, the turning point chance is long gone IMO..

I understand what the point you were making was, I'm just telling you that most people don't really think it's necessary for the team and the fans to adopt the same attitude towards the next game or the rest of the season. If I want to start getting thinking about the SEC tournament already, it wouldn't have any impact whatsoever on the team's mentality towards tonight's game.

Very true. I was speaking on fans mentality not players guess I should have been clearer. My bad.
