... which is good news.

1990 - night - win
1992 - afternoon - win
1994 - afternoon - loss
1996 - afternoon - loss
1998 - night - win
2000 - afternoon - loss
2002 - afternoon - loss
2004 - night - win

Out of the gators last 8 trips to Neyland, with only one exception the VOLS win all the night games and lose all the day games.

I enjoy the night games more. The uniforms show up so much better, you can see details like routes and lineman technique better under the lights I think.

Plus the crowd at Neyland is always better at night. A full day of tailgating gets the blood flowing.

That was another problem with the noon games. There wasn't much time to tailgate unless you got there at 7 in the morning. Nobody was juiced up or awake and then they all had to sit in the heat. Not a recipe for good atmosphere.

Yeah, because it gives us Vol fans a whole day to get drunk and then go to the game :birgits_giggle:

I'll be there. This will be the biggest game at Neyland that I've ever been at. I'll have to weather the Gator section though.

Honestly, Florida fans are probably the 2nd worst fans I've ever been around. 1st going to the fans of LSU

I'd find a bookie up there and try to swap those tickets for UT section even.If no luck, swap two of them with a ten or twenty.I once had two tickets in UT section but wanted three together.I swapped them even but it was in the stupid UGA cheering section.Never again!IDIOTS! :banghead:

If your going to the Florida/UT game, when leaving, if parked out on Neyland Drive, don't dare turn your back to traffic leaving stadium, speeding down Neyland. :bad:

That means that this site will be incredibly active well into Sunday morning, regardless of whether its celebration or ... the other one.

Thats a pretty safe bet. In 1998, the game didn't even end until after midnight if I remember correctly.

Drunk posters are the most entertaining posters of all.

Ohio State fans are the worst. they burn the campus down after they lose. :bad:

Get used to the smell of BO and urine.

...whose intruments have taken the urine and BO smell from the Florida section and redispersed amongst the Florida section

I prefer the night games.. During the fall its much cooler and comfortable for the fans and playes at the beginning of the season. CBS features it usually with some of their better announcers and pregame and halftime coverage is usually better.

The 1994 game was played at night.

At least West Virginia fans only do that after they win.

I remember in 98, leaving the game after we whipped the Gators and on the walk back to my car, a guy had old letterpress set up in the back of a truck, printing off small posters with the team names and score of the game .He was selling them for 20.00 a pop.Yes, people were buying them left and right.(no Gator fans though).

I've bought those at 2 or three games.

Actually, the two Swamp games we won in 01 and 03. They were selling them in Florida and I bought them up.
