I hate to say it but the gators deserve a shot. They won the SEC. They had one loss and won their conference. I am not sure if they are a better team than Michigan. But Michigan had their chance. Gators should get theirs.

I don't know about you guys but as a vol fan this probably is my low point. (Leaving out 05') Picking either Flordia or Michigan sucks probably the two teams that i love to hate the most.

Florida!

If you have a rematch between Michigan and Ohio State and Michigan wins how can you call them NC when they would be 1-1. You would have another Co-Champ situation. If the BCS has any credibility (which they don't) then florida who is 1st in strength of schedule and also 4-1 against ranked teams, should get their shot.

That being said, I still believe there should be an 8 team playoff. There is enough off time b4 the Bowls to get it done and the BS about the kids missing class is just that BS...Div 1AA has a playoff system and their kids miss class, so does their education mean less than the 1A schools?

Florida deserves a shot(ouch)......As much as I hate to say it....Do I think the Gators could beat OSU? No, I don't think anyone in college football this year could beat them.....But I do think they deserve a shot at them

Ohio State is a very beatable team: IMO
Everyone is beatable, but playing good enough to do it is the thing.....If Chris Leak, shows up and decides he wants to play like he did last night when he came out 0-4 with 2 INTs to start out the 2nd half then they will kill the Gators.....IMO, for anyone to beat Ohio State you have to play perfect ball and not turn the ball over.....But then again, that's true with any good team

won the SEC and as conference champion should get a chance at playing for the NC. I hope in my life time a 16 team play-off system can be put into place. I say 16 teams because of conference parity it should be conference champions plus a certain number of at large teams much like division 1-AA uses.

Anyone think that enough controversy would ever bring us a true playoff? Maybe after a few more years, there will be enough accumulated bad will that there is no choice but to add a playoff... I don't know whether this would happen or not, but if you subscribe to that theory, you should root for Michigan to get the rematch. That would be a travesty along the lines of Auburn in '04 and FSU in '01 and others...

Personally, the thought of the SEC champ being left out for a rematch is pretty disgusting, but I would rather see the BCS remain a cluster-@#$% in hopes that we'll see change.

Shouldn't even be a debate. Michigan didn't win its conference, and Florida did. Also Florida and Ohio State are only 12 win teams in the country, if I am not mistaken.

It might be close enough that Tressell actually gets to pick his opponent.

As the polls and computer polls come out, it will be easy to see what is happening.

I thought Florida was going to jump Michigan in Sagarin, but they didn't. If they stay behind them in Wolfe, then Florida will actually need to pass Michigan in the poll numbers to go to Glendale.

Florida is number one in Colley and might end up number one in Massey too.

I believe if I was Tressel and I got that opportunity, I'd take Florida.....I'll get jumped for this and asked if I even watched the game last night or not but Florida's offense really hasn't clicked towards the end of the year....I realize they put up 38 last night on Arky but is Arky's defense really that good or are they that bad? I think if they face OSU that their defense could match UF's speed on offense
