Florida players mock death of mike the tiger

Misleading thread title is misleading...

NOLA – Are Florida football players mocking LSU’s dead mascot Mike VI?

The photo shows offensive lineman Nick Villano and tight end C’yontai Lewis mockingly holding the skeleton on the sideline during the Gators’ 40-14 win over Missouri.

The players could have been taking a shot at Missouri, which has a Tiger mascot like LSU, but the purple-and-gold beads indicate that likely wasn’t the case. Mike VI died of cancer last week.

There's plenty of reason to hate UF.

But this is really reaching.

Oh I don't hate them for it. Like you said lots better material than this.

But I do look at it and shake my head, giggle, and mutter "dumbasses...". And then I giggle some more. 😄

We like to joke about Mark Richt losing control of UGA and all. But on a serious note, McElwain really needs to reign in that team before he gives the appearance he's lost control. Between crap like this and the village idiots proving their stupidity to the world on Twitter practically every day, it appears that's a team that's getting the reputation of zero discipline and zero control from those supposedly in leadership positions.

Iron and truth in those words. Shame I can only like it once.

Go Vols.

Why would McElwain reign it in? Lack of class in inherent in the gator culture... seriously.

I tried to make my inner Grammar/Spelling Nazi go away, but... (I've seen this a lot the last few months):

reign: what a king or queen or other monarch does over their kingdom etc
rain: wet stuff from sky
rein: strip of leather etc connected to a horse's bridle and bit, used to guide and control. When you're trying to get your horse to calm down, you "rein it in."

Thanks, and apologies,
