I was just thinking Mizzouri recruiting will eventually catch up to them and be their downfall. Their only two up from Vandy ranked 59. I know Pinkel is a great XO guy (and recruit development), but when Florida and Tennessee get our act together Mizzouri will be an after thought. Of course they may be more competitive over the long haul then Vandy, UK and even South Carolina but they won't sniff the top of the conference for years to come. They've benefited from us being down thats for sure (and the whole division frankly). They better enjoy it while it last.

Yeah, thats a beautiful thing. McElwain will pull his staff together quickly and hit the road, but they've got a lot
of ground to make up. Will be lucky to finish in the Top 25.

And he can bring his 6 recruits with him from CSU. One is even a 3 star guy.

as long as they churn out studs like sheldon richardson, kony ealy, micheal sam, & shane ray i dont see it they seem to have a monster on the DL every year and its great evals and development imo

shane ray is the defensive player of the league this yr

Recruiting rankings in December are just about as worthless as the AP poll in September.

I don't see UF not getting to top 15 at minimum. I think McElwain's first class likely looks a little like Butch's but with a couple 5 stars.

UF football will never fall as far as Tennessee did. There's just simply too many good players instate for the gators not to land top classes every year. Once UF has the staff in place, I think they finish around 15th in the recruiting standings.

It's early. UF should finish within or just outside of Top 25. Not bad considering the situation.

Even if Florida has a less than stellar year recruiting, it's doubtful they'll ever tumble as far as Tennessee did talent wise on the roster.

It's not that early. National Signing Day is in less than 2 months.

And Florida is down to #84 on 247 now. Behind Rice.

"IF" their new coach is able to assemble his "rock star" staff, then it's possible they'll finish considerably higher than 84th.

Believe me, I'd enjoy watching UF slide into the abyss and not return for the better part of a decade but considering their luck recently (especially against Tennessee) and with the amount of in state talent alone, it's not likely for UF to stay below average for a long period of time.

Sure it will, this new coaching staff is a complete joke, and UF won't sniff the SEC title game for the next decade.

Get on board... :birgits_giggle:
As crappy as the East is, they could compete for it next year even with a new coach..
