Florida will beat Georgia.....

He makes a valid point. Normally, you can just mash Gators by running right up the middle. Without receivers, Fromm is limited. If Kirby can dumb it down to just pound Swift straight ahead behind that 1,700 pounds of blubber, that could give the gators problems.

But, I will still take the gators and the 6.5 points.

this will come down to whichever coach makes the boneheaded mistake that costs them the game. They’re both capable of incredibly Stupid in game decisions.
I think Smart is due some stupidity. Mullen got away with his already this year.

I think the way the first half plays out, if not the first quarter will be critical. If Florida can stuff the run early on, and force Georgia to panic and try to throw a lot more, then they are toast. Fromm is 0-5 when he had to throw more than 30 times. On the other hand if Florida struggles to stop the run, then it will be a long day for them. I am not concerned about Trask and the WR corps scoring. The problem is that a successful UGA run game will keep Florida's offense on the bench. Much is said about Greenard and Zuniga coming back, but no way to gauge how healthy they are. Zuniga was supposed to be a 100% at LSU but he barely played any snaps.

Its one of those games that I don't think will be very close. Either Florida figures it out and wins with two TDs, or Georgia does and wins just as big.

Its a coin toss, but Ill go with my Gators winning 28-14.

I’m leaning to Florida in this one as well. Georgia looks broken to me, and Mullen knows how to coach a close game, better than Kirby.

Spread em out.
Make them play sideline to sideline
They’ll play dirty
Keep the pressure on
They gone

35 to 34.

Convince me I’m wrong.
I’m listening
UGA offense-Top 20
UGA rushing attack-#1 in SEC
UGA defense-#1 in SEC, #5 overall

For the 3 listed stats, UF isn’t in top 50 in offense, not top 25 in defense. How do you win in the SEC? Rushing and defense.

Drives Starting 4th qtr against USCe for UGA included in their 500 yards of offense that day.

Fumble inside SC 30 yd line
Interception inside SC 30 yd line
TD
Interception inside SC 30 yd line
Missed FG

Not beating any SEC team when turnover margin is 4-0 and you have 2 missed FG

I think your guys can score 35 on their D.
I don’t think their guys can score 35 on your D.
And I think you’re right. Kirby is terrible on game day.
it’s that simple
So you think UF will almost double Mullen’s best effort against Ga? Mullen O vs Kirby D has been heavily swayed in Kirby’s favor. In seven tries at Bama, Mullen scored 67 points in 7 games including 20 points in one contest. In two meetings as HC, Mullen has 20 points to Kirby’s 67 in two meetings.

Not saying it can’t happen as turnovers happen and I like the UF passing game now with Trask, but 0-9 is Mullen vs Kirby. It won’t stay that way, blind squirrel and all.

Good points, but expect it to be close 1st qtr if not UF leading. IF UGA executes their game plan, it will play out like last year, pull away late. The “lean on them” offense only gets 3-4 ypc in the 1st half, that goes up to 7-10 ypc in the 2nd half if the offense is able to stay on the field. Greenard/Zuniga being healthy will be a good matchup for forecasted 1st rd NFL tackles in Thomas and Wilson, think the difference is up the middle. How does your interior DL stack up against Kindley, Cleveland, Mays, and Salyer?

Are you seriously counting games where Kirby was a DC for Saban? Hey while we are at it, why don't you include Mullen putting up 31 points on Kirby's defense in 2008 under Meyer?

Just as a reminder, terrible coaches like Butch Jones, Jim Mcelwain and most recently Muschamp beat him too. As far as I care, the only record that matters is Mullen vs Kirby as head coaches at UF and UGA. For now that is 0-1. Hopefully that changes this Saturday.

I agree with that.

Since I have already also agreed with Dawg Breath on here, I'm going to win either way.
