Texas A&M gets an extra week to prepare for Florida because of Hurricane Isaac. Thier game with Louisiana Tech has been postponed until Oct 13.

I see a Florida loss there, but the week off will hurt A&M IMO...there's a lot of improvement between that first and second game.

It also means though that Texas A&M doesn't get to work off its "first game of the year" rust until the UF game

...so possibly this could go both ways

Also, needs to go in the around the NCAA

It's not in the around the NCAA forum because for some reason it doesn't work on my work computer just to clear that up.

When you saw this on ESPN and bolted to deliver this breaking news, about LA Tech and Texas A&M, what made you choose 'Tennessee Football Forum'?

*Tough break for LA Tech, I would think they have a better shot in week 1 against the Aggies.

I love how half the posts in this thread are about how this is n the wrong forum... I will never understand why that is such an issue for some people..

Has to be more of a negative for A&M than a positive.

I agree. A new coach, a new QB, a new system... I just think you want a game over and done with before your first "SEC" game. Obviously I could be wrong, but who the hell wants to play Florida the first game of the year?

BGSU beat Idaho, Morgan State, Miami (OH), Temple, and Buffalo last season.

Yeah. They'll probably beat Florida.
