I was thinking more of the impact to the kid, not Florida. If what Meyer says about him is true, it sucks to see a good kid who works hard lose a chance this way. But, such is life. Tomorrow is promised to no one...

Jeez, that's brutal. Feel bad for the guy. Florida is a good school though, and he can still end up with a degree and career out of the deal.

From what Urbie said about him, sounds like the type that will do just that...

P.S. Thanks for the move mods, upon reflection, I should have put this thread here in the first place...

Tough break for a nice guy and hard worker. I am sure he is terribly disappointed but hopefully can catch some good breaks along the way and enjoy his college career in baseball and in academics.

:ermm: Interesting word choices for a WR who keeps breaking his foot.

He was a great special teams guy who was just snake bitten with injuries. He was part of those great Lakeland teams that one 2 national championships. It is a shame but it's nice to see opposing fans being classy about an injured player on a rivals team.
