I was just looking on Scout at Florida's commits. It does not seem that we were really vying for the same athletes that have already committed to their team. The only one that I recognize is Demar Dorsey. Of course we are in a dogfight for Scroggins, and there are some other athletes that are still out there that we are competing for.

We must be looking for a different types of athletes altogether. I know CUM has mentioned that he wants a pro-style O (yeah right), but it really is interesting that we are not really crossing paths as much as I thought we would for athletes.

Maybe it has to do with our specific needs as well (i.e. O and D linemen) or is it the differing schemes.

They're going after more of the top Florida kids. We seem to be going all over.

Plus a lot of those kids never even really considered anyone else.

9 prospects we have offered are committed to Florida. Stephen Alli is another prospect the staff was very interested in.

10 guys. We don't want as many 5'10 track guys to play RB/WR that they do, but we want a lot of the same guys.

Florida has 15 commits, with 10 being guys Tennessee pursued to some degree. 2/3rd's of the same guys. sounds like we cross paths all the time. nearly 70%.

Even in the Fulmer years UT and UF didnt cross that often.
Florida seemed to get who they want in state.
Seemed to me and I maybe wrong Fulmer went toe to toe with FSU more than UF. During the late 90's
