hmm. bama didn't prepare for the read option because UT has not run it all year. I LOVE DOBBS, don't get me wrong, but the Defense was pretty bad against it. They are going to get destroyed by Oregon if they don't pick it up on D.

But yeah, Dobbs looks good -- glad that the Future Is Now Here

OK for those of you that have been around a while,Dobbs reminds me of Tony Robinson. His arm, feet etc.

Agree! Robinson wasn't fast but he was elusive enough to avoid the sacks and move around in the pocket. Plus he had a rifle arm. I love it!

I've been excited about Dobbs for a while. I was extremely happy to see him play today. I know we were trying to redshirt him, but I was upset when we played Peterman instead of Dobbs at Florida.

I know the coaches said the freshmen weren't ready, but I was fairly confident in Dobbs being the guy to get it done.

Didn't say a word about his skin pigment. And yes their styles are very similar.

I'm old enough to remember T-Rob's arm and Dobbs' arm strength is not in the same league with T-Rob's. Not to say that Dobbs didn't look good because he did. He showed great poise and ability today.

He didn't want to lose a red shirt in a blowout game. How is that hard to understand.

It never should have gotten that out of hand. Playing a QB who's throwing hand is f'd up and barely mediocre in the first place is very hard to understand.

Ok I did not see much of Dobbs with the exception of his fourth quarter throw that was 60 yards and was dropped. Can someone tell me what they saw that is so amazing. I guess I can see it on replay, but wanted to know by you guys.

Dobbs was impressive. I bet, if CBJ starts him next week, his completion ratio will dwarf Worleys. Worley is tough and SOMETIMES connects, which has kept him starting, but he is the posterchild for inconsistency. Being thrown to wolves against Bubba, as a true Freshman, Dobbs was accurate and decisive. Only a fool could not see it. Its time to let Worley sit.... thumb problems or not. Worleys a back up QB at best.

He is mobile, decisive, doesn't lock in on one receiver, has a good arm and more than anything came in against the best defense in the country and didn't get rattled.

Dobbs was 5/12 throwing. Should've been 10/12 and could've been 11/12. Only one ball was off target; the rest were catchable or flat out dropped. He scrambled well and was quite nimble in the pocket.
