A couple of questions for the board:
1) At least one of our erstwhile over reactionary members kept posting (or should I say incessant reposting) about “massive protests” in Memphis. I guess the “massive” crowds are still out of control? There were about 20 folks at Shelby Farms today. Has Memphis burned yet or did I miss it?
2) On the other side of the equation: Now that all the professional protestors and race profiteers are getting their way on less police activity, do they care about the increase in violent crime that’s coming, the increase in carjackings and stolen vehicles that’s coming or the new fad of group smash and grabs where 10 to 20 thieves break into a place and clean it out? Or that Memphis is one of the murder capitals in the United States? You won’t hear Ben Crump or Al Sharpton or the loud mouth protesters speak about those little items that plague big cities worse than the police do.
All I can say is Good Luck Steve Mulroy, Chief Davis and Mayor Strickland. You are going to need it to try to control this city if your police department is scared to act.
