Well here is part two of my every so often report with just a taste of some inside information..

Just let me state that everything I say is 100% true (totally true information with a little analysis on my part), but sometimes things change and dont expect me to get it right 100% of the time. Please believe I wouldn't waste my time trying to impress a few guys on a message board with lies. Notice how I'm not trying to take an "I told you so" approach about my last post. I've been reading this message board for about a year and the regulars on here are really knowledgable and I picked up on a lot of stuff from you guys. We're all pretty much diehard Vol fans and I just want yall to know some of the stuff I'm priviledged to hear...

Anyways...on to the info (not much to report on this time)

1) Take what you want from all of this chatter about the Wide Receivers. Troop knows what he's doing. He's basically trying to scare Meachem and Smith to step up, which I believe they will. Since they are cutting the receiver rotation down to 4 maybe 5, you really didn't think Meachem and Smith would be out of the mix do you? And look for Lucas Taylor to make the most noise out of the sophmore class.

2) Swain is practicing but a redshirt is still a possibility, he is BANGED up. It'll be a wait and see type of thing.

3) A couple weeks ago Fulmer was asking one of his assistants (who will remain nameless) how they can cause more turnovers and the assistant answered honestly and said that the offense was to blame. From what I hear, it got pretty heated. Constant 3 and outs and teams playing conservative because they already have a lead were some of the reasons brought up by the assistant. Fulmer supposedly had no response to those reasons. (This one is more like school girl gossip instead of info...haha...but it happened nonetheless)

4) Lastly, short and sweet, Demonte Bolden will never see the field for regular season game again. TOO soft

It has to come from the Swami himself before I call my bookie!
Brother Derek, Bluegrass Cat, and First Samurai are also good. Those four make for a sweet boxed trifecta.

My guess is the heated arguement was between Fulmer and Chavis. Chavis is the only one with enough equity to stand up to Fulmer and tell him like it is.

Looks like the depth at DT may not be what everyone thought it was.

What's the deal with Bolden? Does that mean he's about to be kicked off or he's just not good enough to play. I can't believe that after all the hype surrounding him after last spring. If it's true then it's just a huge flop all around.

I don't remember him being called soft in high school and that was before he went to military school and supposedly bought into the hard work program there. At least we'll find out how true this observation is this spring. :dunno:

I've been holding this comment for a while just b/c I didn't want to step on ne1s toes. I played against Bolden in High School in the 1st round of the playoffs my senior year, I wasn't impressed with anything but his size. He just seemed to be lazy and slow. For the naysayers we did beat that Tyner team. 28-14. Then, went on to get beat the next week by Goodpasture.

Maybe they are they are just calling him out to motivate him. As long as he has the size and speed maybe the coaches are looking for the switch that turns his agression on.
