Football ticket prices at other schools...

What is face value at most schools? The reason I ask this is because a co-worker of mine, who is a UGA grad, was telling me the face value for the Ok-State vs. UGA game is $100 a ticket. Is this normal?!

Last season a general admission ticket at Commonwealth was $33 IIRC.

I think I heard somewhere that OK St reserves a right to charge a premium on 1 game per year and this year it’s the GA game.

Like the Bedlam ticket in 2008, OSU’s opener against Georgia will be a premium ticket, meaning there will be no single-game ticket sales. Season ticket prices for 2009 are set at $479 for the first eight-game home season in OSU history. Donor seating prices will remain the same as the 2008 season. Donor information will be sent out later this month

So is the school expecting season ticket holders to all be math majors and extrapolate the price of the bedlam ticket from the season ticket expenditures so they can tell their friends what that ticket price is in case they can't make the game due to illness or other unforeseen problems? How'd y'all like that run on sentence?

Kentucky usually has one "premium" game where they'll charge 40-50$ for a regular ticket.

stanford did the same thing a couple of years ago for the Cal and USC games. so basically a bunch of cal and sc fans bought season tickets figuring they could sell the other tickets and still end up ok. unfortunetly it resulted in the non cal and SC game tickets going for $10 or less on stubhub and craigslist.

Not really, My wife and I went to the Tenn-UGlyA game last year. We were able to get good seats 3-4 hrs before the game for $75 a tix. We were on the lower level, closed end corner just above and to the left of the UGlyA band. If it had rain, we would have been dry. We were just under the overhang.
