My honest assesment of what happened at the end
1. Restart Pruett and Harvick race hard and give nothing, causing a big pileup
2.caution is out, field is frozen, robby goes to the grass passes ambrose, then ambrose wrecks robby
3.robby's supposed to go behind the 33 car (12th) but fails to obey nascar and restarts 2nd as he gets disqualified for not taking the black flag in 2 laps.
4.robby wrecks ambrose
5.andy pilgrim is the official leader; harvick passes him
6.carpentier gets in the back of harvick 2 times but lets him get back going
7.harvick wins as both he and gordon celebrate the win by doing donuts and burnouts and celebrating in post race
8. gordon appeals the race
Obviously Nascar hates the little man in Nascar so they would never listen to Robby, but if this was Roush, RCR, Hendrick, JGR, or DEI then well, nothing would be done and they would have been able to restart in 2nd like the rules say because the caution had already been waved and gordon had no way of keeping up his speed, but he got his car turned around and kept it going at a reasonable pace after the scoring is supposed to be STOPPED. Secondly, I became a big Marcos Ambrose fan today and can't wait until he gets a cup ride
My questions are what happened to pilgrim and johnnson at the end? Did they run out of gas?
