So who would thought it? At this point early in the season.. TN stands alone as the only undefeated team in the SEC. Mighty Kentucky and Florida both picked above us in the East both have 2 losses.

I know .. i know.. it doesnt really matter. But for now, at least until (and hopefully after) tomorrow at 3:15... We have a distinction that has to suck if your KY or FL

GBO!

Tennessee 6-0

South Carolina 6-1
Arkansas 6-1
Mississippi State 4-1
Florida 7-2
Vanderbilt 7-2
Georgia 6-2
Kentucky 6-2
LSU 5-2
Mississippi 4-2
Alabama 4-4
Auburn 3-4

Keep it rolling Vols.

Thanks, Bear!

It's good to see a Baylor fan over here on VolNation. During all the conference expansion talk I was hoping we'd pick you and A&M up as part of the SEC, until Texas wrangeld y'all back into that chitty-deal.

Hopefully, when conference expansion heats up again the SEC can add Baylor and the Aggies. You guys would instantly help improve our academics and the power of our conference in basketball. You seem to be on the upswing in football, too.

Thanks. Never know how this expansion will go Conference Expansion musical chairs over? Texas politics makes the difference . If the Big 12-2 implodes the SEC would be a great place to land. ESPN is suing the UT System to find out what really went down this summer.

Sounds like the Big 12 is unstable. Missouri wants out, TCU went to the Big East. I think they need to add U of H, which would bring a huge market to the Big 12 and additional b-ball and football programs.

aTm and Texas already own the D/FW and Houston TV markets...TCU and UofH wouldn't bring too much to the table...Baylor/Duke drew the second most attended Elite 8 ever when they played in Houston. Baylor vs Tech in football have moved thier game to D/FW (Jerry World in 2009 and Cotton Bowl for State Fair in 2010) and played to packed houses. SWC imploded in part because it was too regional (all Texas teams) and didn't draw national TV. I could see Baylor going to the Big East as a travel partner for TCU...Frogs non-revenue sports are only required to go east for Big East Championships (cuts travel costs).

all goods things early on. I have to admit that after our loss to Indy... i wasn't sure how I'd feel 6 games into the season

It didn't bother me a bit. A few others have done it recently, and I figured it would be a needed wake-up call. Luckily I was right
