About to get off 24 hour duty at 0900, and the game comes on at 1000 my time! Not only will I be dog tired the whole game, my wife has just texted me saying her contractions have started! I might need VolNation today to keep me posted while my little man is born!

Let's go Vols, whip dey azz!:rock:

Yank that baby out before gametime and hand that young man and wife a beer for a job well done. Then kick back and enjoy the Vols.

Best wishes here's to a future VFL. Way to get in there and knock up the ole' lady. Just think, about nine months ago you were doing the married mombo and today u get a new family member and watch the vols whip UGA. You sir are living the high life!

OP, your OBGYN needs to wear checkerboard gloves for the "reception"......I mean, kid needs to get used to landing in the checkerboards, right?

Congrats!! Kids are a gift from God!

My wife and I just had a baby as well but like a true VFL, he came two weeks early during a bye week. Go VOLS.

Exactly. It's called a cork, put one in...

We will agree to disagree. I say tell your wife to pop that little guy out in the next 10 minutes. That way he will have time for a cigar and get settled in for the game. She could do that if sherely wanted. Tell your wife to quit being so selfish. She should've already taken care of this during the week.

Update: contractions stopped. Currently overdue and scared of missing the Florida game! I'm sure I'll be alright, but hoping he pops out soon!

You won't care. Mine was born a couple hours before the bama game in 2011 and it didn't matter
