Since we have less than a month till NSD. How many scholarships do we have left, with your best guess who would you think will be the last commits.

I usually am subscribed to the sites but this year with money needed elsewhere I didnt. Normally around this time I have a pretty good guess of who it will be.

Noone really knows. There are claims we have some silents. I'd say we have around 7-8 schollys we will give before its over.

So if we have 8, from recruit speak who do you think those 8 would be or any of those 8.

Just from what I read I can maybe guess on a few, and also have those big fish I think would be a NSD surprise.

what kills me is that with Petrino in fayettnam and Saban moving in, this was a pivotal year in recruiting and we cant even pull a guy from Pitt????

Its close to home for him. His primary recruiter at UT is not longer here. We have almost an entirely new offensive staff. Yeah, unbelievable we didnt get this kid!

This is nowhere near a pivotal year in recruiting. This class never set up to be a big-time class. Now, every year of recruiting is very important. But if you want to pick out certain classes as pivotal classes, this is not it. Next years class will be much more pivotal.

i agree, next year will more important for 2 reasons i think. one being we will need to go after the skill positions again and the other reason is it will be the first complete year with the new staff making contacts with new recruits...i look for a very good class next year

Also, there is some really good instate talent next year. 5* WR from Memphis I think.
