STFU! To think I was looking forward to BB season to end the ridiculous fan BS on VN, and now, 2 game into the season we have fans attacking the team and predicting doom. Please tell me a team with worse fans than UT?

I don't see any doom and gloom. There is good reason for disappointment. Twice UT should have won by 25 and made silly mistakes to make the game close.

One thread and maybe a post or two in the game thread and you feel the need to make this? Please don't turn this in to the football forum. The thread wasn't overly negative or anything and made a legitimate, if not obvious point.

But yeah, you're what your own thread is about.

I don't panic. Usually.

Humans naturally remember the end of something more than the majority of something. Tennessee played well for the first 32 minutes and controlled the game. People are going to remember the last eight minutes (which UNCA won) because that's how people remember things in life. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

The basketball team already has half the wins that the football team does. By the end of the tournament, we could be tied LMAO.

there is no disappointment in a W. There are things that we need to do better, and will cost us if we don't, but W's aren't disappointing. Blowing the lead and losing like we did against AP last year is disappointing.

I did think CM is pulling young players too quickly. But he's the coach. Basketball psyche is fragile though and we don't need Moore scared to make a mistake, imo.

I only got to listen to the game while at work. Is that why Moore's minutes where so low? Did Martin bench him because of his play?

Yes. And really, I didn't think he played badly. He travelled once and was pulled within 30 seconds. Not sure if he played again.
And Trae was tired. When you are tired, you force shots and let your guy get by you as he did late.

Coaches try different techniques with different players. Maybe CM feels that technique gets him to focus, but the fragile psyche of these kids nowadays isn't easy to deal with.

lol I think your being hardcore here. Yeah. The nonstop cry baby act gets old but we have really played down to our competiton these last two games. Hopefully we step it up :p

We were beating one team by 26 and let it end the way we did and we were beating UNCA by 15 or 16 to finish the way we did. Fans have a reason to feel the way they do. Hopefully all this will go away when Maymon gets back.

The whiners and complainers believe it makes them look intelligent to pixx and moan. They probably kick their dogs and beat their wives when not complaining and bashing our players and coaches.:horse:

If Kenny Hall will play like he did today, we will have a great front line when Maymon comes back. BUT, I know the sky is falling. They says so on VN.:)

It's early. I wouldn't say people are freaking out but just concerned because it has happened twice now. As I said in the game thread, if we have Maymon we're probably not even having this argument because we'd have such a big lead and keep it for the most part that it wouldn't matter.

There were some positive today. Hall and Richardson played well for the most part. We just have to stay focused for 40 min. The guys tend to have a stretch where they don't stay focused.
