Don't expect much to happen before NSD. Dead Period starts at Midnight tonight and lasts until Midnight Friday. So be patient and don't get your underwear in knots. :hi:

This is just a rumor but I heard that none of the prospects we are looking at are coming to UT, and that all our other commits are de-committing.. :)

I know, it's a shame. We're all going to be sitting in Neyland in a couple of years and there will be no team on the field. Just hot dog vendors to root for. It's amazing that no one will ever come to play here again.:)

I think some of the negative people are concerned that AU is out-recruiting us. They have a new staff too. Recruiting has nothing to do with player development, but we have told several players to go away. One has to be concerned by being out-recruited by an AU staff that had less time than our staff.

Obviously, things will be revealed on Wed.

What is Dave Hooker's deal? His article almost looks like he wants Kiffin to fail. He takes the story line on just a few recruits and paints the entire program with a bad brush. Its utterly unbelievable. Is he trying blackmail Kiffin for better access or what? Talk about bush league reporting...and that's just keeping it clean. Who does he think he is?

The ink isn't dry yet; we may still get Oku. Not to mention there are a couple of Auburn commits that are looking at us now. It could wind up being a push.

After KNS' 17 year slobber affair with Fulmer, anything short of Butch Davis wasn't going to cut it. Also, look at the average age of the KNS staff that covers UT Football and it's pretty obvious that they are pretty conservative and are unlikely to change.

Well at least Lane will get some free time to talk to his wife.....On the phone...Poor guy, His wife is STILL in California getting everything set up to move to K-town.

I am not sure why Hambone just didn't sign some of the VN gurus. Some people on here think they know everything on recruiting and coaching and are so quick to criticize when CLK does not sign up recruits that were committed under Fulmer. Now some are forecasting we are doomed...what a joke, this is the kind of crap that has kept John Adams and Jimmy Hyams in a job for years.

Half the people who post here need to read this thread...after all that has happened the last few years, for people to think we're gonna sign 5 5* and 20 4* players lane's first year, in which the staff as a whole has been recruiting for no more than a month is just absurd...i laugh at you all actually...

Good one! The article about Nu'keese on GVX stated he was gonna stay with UF then i read an article on the UF rivals site that stated he was 50/50 and was struggling with his decision. Great reporting by GVX. Sometimes i think they want UT to fail.
