I just want to say....

Hard fought game. yeah score was borderline blowout, but yall have injuries and suspensions, and new QB. He seemed to do much better at the end.

I am not demanding, but i just hope yall realize that what we hog fans have been saying on here all week wasnt false. We believe we are getting better each week. Please, give us some more credit now. The congrats thread is a good one so far, GL with the injuries and GL the rest of the year.:peace2:

I would give you all the credit in the world if we were a good team. We aren't. In addition a team put up 50+ points on you. That automatically disqualifies you from BCS title game eligibility.

You guys looked awfully potent in the first half and coasted in the second. Our D isn't on par with LSU though. Good luck.

They will not survive LSU with all of that trick play stuff, someone will get hurt. LSU is way way faster at every possible position on defense

Congrats. I knew you all would blow us out. Any Vol fan who coud not see this coming, needs to take the orange tinted glasses off.

I meant the line up of McFadden at Quarterback, direct snaps, reverses, maybe not real trick but something different from the norm

What better time for you Hogs to win too. How many teams above you lost? Louisville, Aub, Cal, now Texas. Did I miss any? (besides the weak gators win) You should see a good gain in the polls and BCS.

I'm pulling for you to win out now

Good luck, hogs. Enjoy the victory well earned. You have a very good team. You guys suffered thru some recent bad years but made the necessary changes (offensive coach Guru).:salute:

Well, not sure I should post it in this thread, cause I'm not one of the ones who "doubted your Hogs." Congrats, that was a thumpin' - I expected your offense to perform in the manner it did, I had hoped our offense would make it a shootout, but you guys played great on both sides of the ball tonight!

Great game Hogs. I, unlike some of my Vol brethren, think you guys looked great against a good Tennessee team (only 2 plays away from undefeated prior to this game). Good luck on your quest for your first SEC Title.

That is a lame excuse for losses. We are three plays away from losing to USC, Air Force, and Bama.

Very similar to 1998, when the Vols won a national championship with a few close wins.

Again Hogs fans, I will not belittle your win by saying you beat a bad team. Congratulations.

Those close wins were against good teams in 1998. This year all our close games have been victories over crappy or average teams, or losses to good teams.

Congrats to the Hogs - definitely the best team in the SEC - keep it up against the Tigers and especially the Gators.

I think ya'll lit us up. I think you can light LSU up. I think Florida can slow you down, but in the end, you'll control too much of the clock and will win the SECCG and make the trip to the Sugar Bowl where I can't imagine you won't be successful there...

To the Hog Fans...congrats. I actually thought that magic was going to happen tonight and my Vols would pull of the victory. It is rare that I stop rooting for my Vols to win in a game and just sit back and watch the game (knowing we are going to lose). Tonight was one of those nights. You guys really did hand it to us. Nothing to say but that.
