It does suck. I would like to see a list of the policy that has come out of a one-party dominated US government that has proven to be good policy and provided a benefit to our country greater than that which some compromise to the other side would have yielded. A cursor examination of American politics of the twentieth century reveals a one party dominated government has been in effect most often by only one to the two prominent parties.

I will never cast another vote for any candidate under any circumstances who has a D by his name.

I now understand why someone once remarked that he wouldn't vote for Jesus Christ Himself if he had a D by his name.

Not that I'm particularly happy with the Rs, compromising Rs are the main complaint against the Republican party.
