Want to mow the outer edge of their property blowing towards the road? 1/4 acre (10,890 sq ft) lot up to 30 acres. 90%+ of the grass you mow is going to end up in your own yard. It makes no sense to blow the outer strip of your lawn in the road. I don't care about motorcyclist, cars driving by catching your grass clippings, or the fact that you've made your work look bad. I'd love to know the logic behind this thought process? Thanks, and move this to the gardening thread if need be.

Probably lazy and let their grass get too high and can’t blow it inward or they’ll choke up their mower.
One lap around the outside isn't going to change the 90% of the grass that they mow and is still in their yard. If anything it's advertising that they don't know how a mower works.

So they mow the first lap one way and then change direction for the rest? Might be psychopaths.

No clue. It makes no sense to me that the outside strip of grass is blown into the road. I'm curious to the thought process of using a lawnmower to blow grass in front of your property, when 90% of the grass mowed will end up on your own property.

Because we live in a free country, by god.[/QUOTE

We live in a "free" country where anyone can do whatever he or she wants at the expense of someone else. I despise untidiness. Right up there with ungodliness. I should know. Been both.
