Former Texas A&M basketball player David Edwards has died of the coronavirus. His former Aggies teammate Charles Henderson shared the news via Facebook on Monday night.

An A&M official confirmed reports of Edwards’ death.

Yeah, really sad for Aggie nation. I watched him play in college (I’m an Aggie). He held the team record for assists and steals until Alex Caruso 20 years later.
