I was wondering how long it would take before this happend. As far as I am concerned, this should have taken place a long time ago.

Exactly. Sam Keller seems like a spoiled brat. He whined and cried about losing his job at AZ. St. and then transferred to Nebraska where he was only mediocre and got hurt again. He didn't get drafted and his free agency didn't work out. Get a job Sam and stop looking for an easy way out.

I live in AZ! (from Memphis Tn), the whole thing was shaddy about Sam Keller and the head Coach Cutter! He didn't have the Ballz to tell Rudy Carpenter that Sam was the man and when Rudy lost the job the a few team members had a meeting and told the coach about Sam personal life and Rudy threaten to transfer! LOL I just laughed I hate the Wack 10

it's too late now. now that the ps network and xbox live are both involved and players can make and exchange rosters it doesn't matter what they do. there's going to be real rosters every year. get over it kid, you're a collegiate athlete. with that comes popularity, like it or not.

The irony of this statement is just too much to ignore.

And on topic...kiss the support of online roster sharing goodbye...I hope not, but wouldnt be surprised. :furious3:

once the internet gets involved in something it's very hard to turn things back around. people are going to continue to share rosters and what not now that it's already in practice. the xbox live and playstation network communities will figure out a way to continue updating their own rosters

why? using player numbers and corresponding ratings to the players' real life counterparts has been a part of not just ncaa football, but other college sports video games for years now. ncaa football has had it since at least ncaa '98. the funny thing is that you can't even take the players' helmets off in ncaa '09, so you can't even see his entire head structure to begin with. and its ironic that out of the several thousand players that have been used as references to apply a rating to their in game player over the years, sam keller of all people is the first one to make something big out of this.....which means its not a big deal to a huge majority of college athletes to begin with. so if sam keller has a case, then so do all the other college athletes that have had an ea sports counterpart over the years in any college sports videogame. sam needs to find something better to do with his time....he'll lose this case.

and as far as the online rosters go, the customer makes those....not ea sports. it should be a non-issue.

He's an idiot. If EA started making the game with players having different numbers, weight and height than their real life counterparts, customers wouldn't like it and I guarantee football players wouldn't either. Most of them are happy to be able to play as themselves in a game. Like duckman said, over all these years no other player has seemed to have a huge problem with it.

True, but the method of sharing them is supported by the game. Yes the customer creates/edits them, but EA supports the sharing of them within the programming. I dont think they'll take away the ability to edit your own rosters, just the support of sharing said rosters within the game, online.
