Put this on football thread because i wonder how many millions former Dawg golfers have given to the football program. Plus many of them provide mational exposure for their University.

Meanwhile our worthless ass golf program has produced 1 Tour winner, James Gallagher , in the past 50 years.

I have always subscribed to the notion that the professional golf playing alumni of Georgia killed our football program for fifteen years. Glad to see the world catch up.

Didnt say it did, but certainly millions of dollars in cash and national publicity hasnt hurt the Dawgs.

Worthless? We've had some really good, nationally ranked teams. Apparently you're clueless as to how freaking great you have to be to prosper on the PGA tour.

I mean, UGA should be awesome at golf. They should be awesome at every sport. Absolutely no excuse for them not to be.

Schools aside, but watching him at address with his incessant "waggles" drives me insane. After the 3rd one, I'm screaming at him to hit the damned ball already! On one occasion, he did it THIRTEEN times. They actually counted on the broadcast. Congrats to him on a helluva tournament, but sheesh!

Little Man with a hot head attitude. Very Surprised Harmon won the Open; maybe he has been getting Sports Psychology Treatments. Major accomplishment; and good for an older player to get that Major win. (still can't like him though)
