If the NFL kept him out, hopefully they did so as a favor to the world. Though football pays you a lot, it's hardly contributing to the world in a meaningful way. It helps the economy but it also lines the pocket of billionaire owners and millionaire athletes who are paid more money then they should ever need. Though, there are exceptions... Mike Tyson, Allen Iverson, Antoine Walker etc... bunch of dumbasses. The league may see it as, he's so smart that he's better off using his brain to help the world as opposed to launching his head into opponents for future alzheimers. It's his choice on what he wants to do and the Florida dude above me is probably right, I doubt the NFL would keep him out. But, if they did... Myron Rolle is capable of contributing a lot more to society than making tackles. Would suck that it prevented him from making millions but who knows, maybe he'll make millions anyways. He's young and apparently brilliant.
Pretty sad that players viewed him as a nerd. Like, what do they want him to be? A thug that talks like a moron? There is nothing wrong with exercising your mind. In fact, it should be encouraged rather than frowned upon. Anyone who views it as a negative probably does so because they're an f'n moron.
Anyways... Rolle is bad to the bone. Some of those players take the easiest classes possible just to stay academically eligible and still can't pass em'. Rolle padded a bunch of insane courses on top of football and still passed with flying colors. Dude is a beast.
