Some people are just lucky I guess. Nothing to here.. nothing against the rules going on.. sometimes you just have an alignment of planets and stars such that anything is possible. Yeah…

I posted because I find it very interesting when former players let the cat out of the bag.

Unless they are VOLS. Then it hurts.

No harm here, really. USC has already taken the punishment.

I want to know how BAMA did it.
I suspect Pruitt's methods give us a lot of insight into how it was done in Tuscaloosa, and maybe UGA and FSU.

Way back in the mid to late 90's they did it through boosters. They were able to avoid lack of institutional control but had been documented in paying out hundreds of thousands of dollars. Had a couple of years of post-season bans and like 5 years of probation. Maybe non-coincidentally I believe the year the probation ended was 2007, but I might be mis-remembering.

Personally these guys who have profited and come out years later I don't respect unless they give it back. I mean take our Arian Foster for example. Did he ever pay back those 50 tacos he got delivered? If not then why bring it up? 😆

I think they’re pretty good playing into his Heisman being taken away.

Yes, the commercials are funny in a way. Still kind of a creepy thing to do when you stop to think about it. Get busted breaking the rules, screw yourself and your university, then make fun of it all a decade later.

Hope he is not hoping for the Heisman committee to soften their stance in his lifetimes.

isn't 'coming out' a different thing?

Hmmm… and who was his offensive coordinator at USC?

Yeah. Wonder if he was running similar shenanigans with female interns at USC that he got us in trouble for, or if it was just bags of cash appearing under the pillow when sought after recruits got their well earned reward from their mysterious benefactor?

I found a 20 in my winter coat in high school the first time I put it on for the new winter.
I have checked every coat pocket for 30 years since and found zilch.

And I think Kiffin's adjusted his style of shenanigans to fit the culture in Knoxville.
Far more subdued that the over the top style of USC.
USC paid extremely well compared to the pennies they bought 5* talent for in Tuscaloosa.

Well there’s a cost of living difference out in California so it’s understandable
