Not a fan of Sparks.

I live in Jefferson County but am a Central alum. Unless he needs money at his age the high school seems like an easier path to retirement. Less stressful. However maybe he misses recruiting or other things about college. Id have preferred he stay at CHS as the program is inching closer to competing for state titles.

Sparks has been at CN since 1980, his record is 334-92-2. He has won 5 NAIA Championships and 21 SAC titles.

He found a battle against cancer a few years ago. He definitely qualifies for HOF.

His results have regressed since moving over to NCAA. NAIA seemed more his speed.
