I am not up on my internet acronyms, so if anybody else is dumb like me, smh = :jpshakehead:

had to go to Urban Dictionary.com to get the meaning. It is a great site to find out what meanings of the latest colloquialisms are.

James had the chance to be a great Vol and a very solid NFL player. The kid has made a ton of stupid mistakes but at least he's trying to get things back on track. Gotta give him credit for trying.

I'm holding on to hope that he still has that chance. He definitely still has loads of ability... you don't lose that, even over a 2 year period. Hard work and opportunity... that's what James Banks needs now.

I agree the talent is still there but NFL coaches aren't likely to sign a guy that hasn't played college ball in 2 years and has a very bad past.

I think his best chance would be to play in the CFL or Arena League and try to impress NFL scouts like others have in the past.

Maybe Tony Dungy would take a chance on him. I read that Dungy encouraged Banks to play at Carson-Newman. I guess Dungy is good pals with the coach at C-N or something. I know that's a long shot, but more possible than any other coach in the league. Unless... Banks goes to some pre-draft workouts and just wows the NFL scouts.
