Former Vol Pitcher Zack Godley Optioned to Minors Again

Per ESPN(3-26-17):

DBacks- Optioned RHP Zack Godley to Reno (PCL).

Hopefully not another up & down season from minors to majors for Zack. The team would be close to out of options if they choose to do him this season like they did last season & would be forced to be put him on waivers & claimed by another team. I think they only have one more option left after sending him down to the minors today.

I was really hoping he would make the opening day roster. He didn't have a great spring but it really doesn't look like he got much of an opportunity. He ended spring with a 5.87 ERA but he only got 7.2 innings.
