Alma mater is Oregon. He will be interviewing for quite a few jobs in the coming years with Colorado and Cal being for sure this year. He's very respected within coaching circles, and the fact that he would likely bring Sirmon and Lupoi with him makes him an interesting candidate to any program.

Your right, it was Oregon. Did he coach at Cal? For some reason, I was thinking he had some ties to Cal.

Yep, he took over a year after Tedford started at Cal as a linebackers coach. That is where the connection between him and Lupoi arose, and why we were able to make a serious run at Lupoi after Chuck Smith left (Lupoi is a hard pull away from the west coast though).

CJW seems to be the "people's choice" and his name is being pushed to the Cal AD, according to Coaching Search
