I hope its the Preds, that would be an insane lineup of forwards...Kariya, Legwand, Sullivan, Forsberg.

Anybody but the Red Wings

What has Forsberg done to deserve being exiled to Nashville? If traded to the Predators, he should immediately leave the NHL and return to the Swedish League.

if the Red Wigs can somehow aquire Forsberg, give them the Stanley Cup now.

Forsberg is coming to Nashville pending NHL approval. Upshall, Parent and 2 draft picks for Forsberg. What a great pickup for the Preds!

As much as it pains me, I have to give the Predators credit. They understand that you have a very short window of opportunity under the new NHL financial structure to win a Cup. It appears they are going all out to do so this year.

I have heard this all day from Nashville talk radio.

Anyone else heard it?? Blaker, what do you know??

Blaker knows that he's been banned. Something you know a lot about CBC.

The chemistry is good for the Preds now, but adding a player of his caliber would be nice.

Preds=Stanley Cup, Id love to believe it, but i still think they will blow it in the playoffs again, specially if they meet the red wings again, but if so and forsberg is a bust and out of his prime, then i would have to look at what they gave up for him. Upshall and Parent, Upshall had not lived up to potential but parent was a good defensive prospect. Also the 1st n 2nd round draft pics they gave up for them. But hopefully Forsberg will live up to expectations and create a dreaded starting lineup for tha Preds, specially along with Kariya.

Aggressive work by the Preds...great move to get Forsberg. Nashville was in the hunt for the cup before this, and you really have to like their chances now.

I think this is a smart move. The Preds are taking a risk with Forsberg.....they know he may turn out to be a bust but they have an opportunity NOW to win a cup so they are going for it. I don't mind giving up what we did to have a better chance at it no matter what Upshall, Parent, or the draft picks turn out to be.

The picks are the Preds first and third round picks.

I missed the game, but Forsberg doesn't seem to have helped tonight.

Listening to the game tonight I started to see what Forsberg will add to the offense of the Preds. While he didn't score any points tonight, he increased the number of scoring opportunites, and the Preds turned that into a 4-1 win.

He has already made a positive impact, but it will take a few games for him to really start showing what he is capable of with his new teammates.

Yup. That line of Forsberg, Kariya, and Erat should put fear into any goalie.
