I've had some friends get this done. It's a very simple procedure. If everything goes as planned (it's a low risk surgery), then he will probably have to stay overnight and take it easy for a week or two. Honestly, if he has had an irregular heartbeat with his stats, I'd love to see what he can do with a normal heartbeat, because his condition (even if minor) most likely affected him every day. It will make someone tired pretty quickly.

Hope it's only a small procedure to correct the problem & he will be back to full strength in no time. But my prayers will be with him during this time.

Just saw him on Dan Patrick show and he said this is false. Foster said he was talking to someone and mentioned this and the person he spoke to took it wrong. No surgery for Foster at this time......per Foster himself less than 20 minutes ago.

First and foremost, I wish him a speedy recovery and good health. Secondly, I hope this does not impact his NFL career.

Had this done about 8 years ago, was only in the hospital less than 24 hours and back at work in just a few days. Really isn't that big of a deal and haven't had a problem with my heart since.

It's a pretty common procedure. He won't miss a beat... (see what I did there?) :dance2:

Edit: Glad you are back Rechoryan. I had a couple bouts with A-fib, but don't need this (yet.. hopefully won't ever) A also have a friend's 15 year old daughter that just had it and she's fine... AF will be fine too...

My son had this procedure when he was 4. It was scary as hell at the time, but he's 16 now and strong as a horse. No procedure is routine when it's your heart, but this is very common (as others have said) and NOT open-heart surgery. Best wishes to Arian.

Up until the last few posters it looked like the usual thread of over reactions without actually reading the article. Come on people, don't live your lives just reading headlines! Read the entire story before you react.
