We Will Never Know But If Foster Was Rb In The Gator Game Do You Think We Would Have Had At Least A Hundred Yards Running Or Was Fla. Line To Good.

I think that we do know. The answer is no, we wouldn't have. Why?

(Gator Defensive Line / Tennesee Offensive Line)evaluated on Saturday night = infinity.

To quote the AFLAC duck.....Whaaaaaa?

:) Sorry...it was the first thing that came to my mind. Essentially...the Florida D line was too much for the Vol O line on Saturday night...I wanted to post the equation as a .gif but couldn't figure out how. It probably wouldn't have been any more effective though. I'm just a nerd. But...a nerd who loves Tennessee football, if that counts for anything. :whistling:

By the way, do you think that it may be possible the O-line thought the game was at the Swamp?

I believe we do know, the answer is NO, not even close. That was not a running back issue on Saturday night.

There were no holes for Hardesty, so there wouldn't have been any holes for Foster.

It wouldn't have mattered if we had Jamal Lewis, Travis Henry, or Travis Stephens in the backfield. When we handed the ball off the RB's were having to try to make something on their own. As fast at UF's D is it wasn't going to happen.

Offensive lines have to grow together as a unit through actual games played together. There is a fair amount of experience in this unit, but not much time on the field together. We took a tough hit because of this. They will improve. There is real talent there.

So much is improved over the end of last season that I'm really having a hard time dumping on the efforts that I have seen thus far.

Looks like Foster is probably a no-go for the Marshall game. I'm calling Hardesty having a huge game. I think the O-line will be out to make a statement (which really won't be heard until they do it against Georgia in a couple of weeks).

Hardesty: 140 yards, 2 TD
Coker: 62 yards

Well, I don't think that Foster will be back until Ga. Plus every one of our RBs are hurt right now with the exception of Yancey-a walk on. I think that Williams is cleared but not ready by any means. Hardesty and Coker are "banged up" and that is all the coaches are saying in the injury report. We will be hurting at this position all year.

Where can you find an up-to-date injury report every week? I know the Tennessean talks about it a little bit, but where can you find an official injury report?

Injury reports are given in the KNS sports section and after the practice report here on the radio by Dave Nathan. As far as online postings, I have no idea. You can stream the sportsanimal at sportsanimal99.com. The usually give the practice report around 545-600ish.
