Four keys to success

Looking for big things from Reed and Steckenrider.....both were very highly touted coming out of HS....if those 2 and Gruver can pitch well then the starting rotation would be good enough to compete to win SEC weekend series

Also really looking to see Toles....wonder if he's more Kentrail Davis or PJ Polk?.....Davis was more of a power guy while Polk obviously was more of a speed game....hopefully a combination of both

I'm seeing Ramsey having a really good year.....he didn't get to hit until seemingly midway through the year for whatever reason but then he really took off at the plate.....he's also a pretty solid closer

Lastly it'll be interesting to see how Horne does....he didn't play any last year

They were 10-7 after 17 games last season. They need to get to 10 wins before they play their 17th game, and they can do that by winning 10-12 of their first 15 games.
I don't think they will repeat sweeping in the opening series then losing 5-6.
With their first 15 games to start the season they have a strong chance to have a fantastic start winning 10-12 of their first 15.

The Vols have to win more in games decided by two runs or less.

Andrew Toles needs to have a fantastic year.
