Just read where Taylor said he's going to use a four wide receiver rotation against Cal. Swain, Meachem, Smith and Taylor get the playing time.

He said that Hancock and Briscoe just aren't good at run blocking and he's not just going to put them out there on pass plays.

I'm really interested to see how Taylor does at WR. That could be fun to watch.

Why would he say that? That would just tip the plays to Cal. Either run or pass:dunno:

Im really excited about this actually. Hope it's a good recipe for less drops and more big plays from one of our most storied positions this year.

Anyone know right off the bat how tall Lucas Taylor is? I don't feel like looking it up.

I wouldn't be surprised if those 4 aren't the core with several of the other guys being the #5 receiver at one time or another.

Considering their reported performance during camp, I'd be surprised if we don't see alot of Hancock and Rogers. Maybe Asumnu opposite Swain on short yardage as a decoy.

You're right, Hancock will probably see the field and they said that Rogers will get a look depending on his contributions on special teams, whatever that means.

I thought Briscoe would be in it this year for sure. I guess I was over impressed by that circus TD catch looking into the sun last year. That's about the only good catch I remember.

Ok, maybe it wasn't a circus catch, but it was a good one. Was that in the Memphis game?

the WR rotation should be OK, Hancock will get PT, and Rogers could work his way in...he'll be returning punts

There are certain things that just aren't in Stanley's repertoire....like layups.
