Does Smartmatic own Dominion? Or is this another suit?

Lol no, they do not. That was a conspiracy cooked up by Rudy and spread by Fox News.

This is a totally separate suit from the one with Dominion filed by a totally separate company.

Just cannibal lawyers going after their own kind and showing their real depth of thought.

Well, I fully expect a snarky answer from LG, but hold out hope CWV will provide some insight.

It will be interesting to see how they handle the "Two plus two ..." and "The Earth is round" things as solid, hard hitting stuff. Can you imagine rejecting solid supposition on election statistics and poll watcher affidavits as "no evidence" and somehow supporting this?

Please.
And then a few more Trumpers can conclude that they were played and leave the dark side.

Won’t happen. Those still clinging to fraud allegations wouldn’t be convinced if they took a time machine and physically watched every person fill out their ballot. They’d claim the time machine was invented by Bill Gates and really sent them to a different dimension.

Complaint went full potato.

@lawgator1 @ClearwaterVol

Is the absurdly stupid language in the introduction normally used in such complaints?

Sometimes. It's a lawsuit where they know the filing of it is big news so I'm not surprised they would write parts of it in a rhetorical manner like this. It has no legal significance and in defending lawsuits where such rhetoric is used we just ignore it. It is of import only to third parties watching and commenting on the case.

Forgive me if rhetorical isn't a word I would use when describing the Introduction.

I can't use the word since a Mod will pull it, but if there's a level beyond full potato, you've guessed it.

In a lawsuit like this they want to prove that the Defendants made statements they knew to be false. So, they make it a point to talk about the obvious falseness of the statements made. I'm not impressed by it. Everybody knows there is a qualitative difference between knowing the Earth's shape versus the same level of certainty as to an election with a ton of moving parts.

In my view, the lawsuit should focus on the lack of evidence behind the claims made by the Defendants. That they knew the evidence was not there but acted recklessly in making the statements out of personal motive. That's an easy case to prove in this instance.

Did the paralegal leaving out the roses are red and violets are blue part hurt your feelz?

Do you honestly believe it was a fair election?

What are you afraid of?
I’m afraid of aliens with space lasers. And Marjorie Taylor Greene. She’s batshite crazy. She’s like one of those dates you had that became a coyote date. You know when you chew your arm off so you don’t wake her up when you leave. That’s MTG.
