Well, that's about 12 years late.

LOS ANGELES – "King of the Hill" is over the hill at Fox, which is canceling the long-running animated comedy.

Final episodes of the half-hour series, now in its 13th year, likely will air during the 2009-10 season, Fox said Friday. The network recently ordered 13 new episodes, and animated series have a long production schedule.

Agreed. I never cared for it. Much better toon/comedies out there. Give me squidbillies and Southpark over King of the Hill and Family Guy any day OTW.

I love that show, but it has been poorly written the last 3 seasons or so.

I always found it hard to believe that they were able to even get this show on TV. Every single character's voice is excruciatingly annoying.

For whatever reason, I love watching this show. Unfortunate it has to get canceled instead of some of the other crap they try to shove down our throats.

Hank Hill gets on my nerves quite a bit because he can be so racist and backwoods. Peter from Family Guy is such an idiot that he gets on my nerves too though. However, Bobby Hill and Stewie are probably my favorite cartoon characters of all time.

South Park still has the ability to take the most random plot and make it funny. However, I like it more when they discussed issues like global warming instead of the future war between atheists.

It's more like 5. I think 2003 was the end of it. IT was in it's peak in the late 90's. Now it is awful.

The early nineties was by far the best. There have only been a handful of decent episodes in the 2000's.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree. I think the show was at its best from 1998 2001 or something around there.

South Park still does topical humor, that's why it never gets old. South Park could run another decade if they wanted it to.

Anyway. Let King Of The Hill go. It was decent while it lasted.
